The winning team and Jeppesen employees prepare to start their first day

The winning team,  CHEF Homeschoolers from Cuba City, WI arrived at the Glasair Aviation factory this morning. The team includes students Abri Badger, Colton Koester, Nathan Koester, and Jonathan Smythe, teacher Tom Smythe, and chaperone Steve Badger.  The students will be working closely with Glasair’s expert technicians, as well as employees from GAMA and Jeppesen. During their time at the Glasair factory, the students will be expanding the skills that they began developing in the classroom.

Our Glasair Aviation, Build A Plane students have made great progress during day one and are leaning forward into day two. The new owner of the Sportsman, Paolo Buonfante, is very happy with the level of effort the students are putting forth to complete the project on time. We are all impressed by the team’s level of understanding and commitment to completing the project.
