Glasair Aviation is hosting a fly-in at Flabob Airport (the location of EAA Chapter 1) in Riverside, California on September 11-12, 2010, in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Glasair First Flight. Details are still being worked out, but guests of honor will be Tom Hamilton, designer of the Glasair, Glastar and Kodiak aircraft and, Henri Chorosz, Glasair IIS FT holder of multiple extended over ocean record flights. Multiple Glasair, Glastar and Sportsman models will be on display to show the evolution of the company and its designs. Glasair’s “Two Weeks to Taxi” personnel will be in attendance to offer tips and tricks on how to build quickly and Ted Setzer, Mikael Via and Tom Wathen will all be available for informal Q & A sessions. All Glasair, Glastar and Sportsman builders and pilots are encouraged to attend!

Please let us know if you plan to join us for this historic event — we need an estimate of attendance to plan for accommodations.  (Expect more details in July when we’ll seek firm RSVPs.)

Thanks!
